These boots have been a game changer. After taking my boys shoes off back in November, he was struggling to adjust especially on stoney areas and hard surfaces. I bought a pair of these boots for his fonts and we are now back to enjoying lots of summer hacking! He is amazing in them. They are so well made and give the horse that extra grip as well as comfort without needing to put shoes back on. Massive shout out to Cat who was extremely helpful throughout the process. I have a set of these that I use over 5 years now almost daily for exercise and turn out at night. They are Amazing. Our ground is so flinty and the horses move confidently and comfortable over the rough terrain and often in the field at great speed. I do not put them on when conditions are slippery. I leave them off during the day in the hotter weather to allow the feet to breath. After 5 years there has been a little coming away on one side, however the clip still holds them securely in place. I just about to order some for another horse and will definitely get the Active Jogging ones as the clip on the side has added years to their life. These really save my old horses feet from breaking and splitting in these current dry conditions.
Excellent customer service as always, prompt delivery. Boots were tried on and they fitted perfectly. Did the prep before the boots were used on a drive. I’m delighted with these boots. It was reasonably easy to adjust the cables to ensure a good fit after I had watched the YouTube video and, for a small fee, I chose a different (brighter) colour of heel captivator so that they’re more visible if they come off. They have stayed on well for the 3 longer rides I have done so far, varied terrain, about 13-20 km.
I'm new to the world of hoof boots, so these are my first purchase. So far they seem really good and fit my horse well. This is all down to the advice I received from the Hoof Boutique. Liz suggested which brands and sizing would fit my horse, and checked photos and videos of the boot shells on prior to purchasing.
Really like these boots, so many adjustment points and an excellent close fit. Never once had a rub. Just bought a replacement for my endurance horse's nearly 3 year old pair. The original set still have enough life in them to keep going as boots for my training liveries or as a spare tyre!
Absolutely outstanding service! Followed the super clear instructions on the website to measure and photograph my PRE boys hooves and sent this in. Within a couple of days I'd received a big list of boots to try. I received the 11 suggested shells in plenty of time to try them with my farrier. Am happy to say we found Scoots fit best? I am going to send a photo/video in to double check with the experts. I'm so happy with the whole experience, Hoof Bootique gets a 100% recommendation, and we've not yet finished the process!
