Description

The Scoot Boot Classic Hoof Boot is the latest innovation in horse boots technology. Scoot Boot believe their boots will be far superior to any other hoof boot on the market, due to its simplicity and ease of fit. Unlike other horse hoof boots, the Scoot Boot will not get soggy, heavy or wet when riding through muddy and wet terrain. This is because the Scoot Boot is constructed of very strong thermoplastic urethane (TPU) as well as the securing straps, which gives the Scoot Boot superb strength to stand up to all types of terrain that you and your horse may ride over.

For a small fee, we are now offering to swap the Black Front Straps and Pastern Straps on your Scoot Boots for a different colour! If swapping to a colour, the Black straps are not included.

Available in a range of sizes, Scoot Boots are stylish and adaptable beyond any other hoof boots presently on the market.

What Accessories are included with each pair of Scoot Boot Classic?

  • 4 pastern straps in black
  • 2 Trail Gaiters
  • 2 spare black Front Straps Standard (M00, M0, M1, M2 & M3 sizes have 1)
  • 6 spare knob hooks plus screws (M00, M0, M1, M2 & M3 sizes have 5)

What hooves are Scoot Boot Classics not suitable for?

  • Hooves with high heels, long toes or flared hoof walls.
  • Hooves that have major structural changes due to injury to the bulbs or laminitis.
  • Clubbed feet.
  • Hooves that are more than 10mm wider than longer or more than 10mm narrower than the hoof length measurement.

The amount of grip will change if the surface is wet. Always consider safety for horse and rider regarding wet/dry surfaces.

Not sure if you need the Classic, Adjust or TheraRide Model?

With more models available, it’s natural to wonder if newer means better. Scoot Boot are seeing a trend where some riders are selecting TheraRide, believing it’s an upgraded version of the Scootboot Classic. However, it's important to know that the TheraRide isn’t an improvement, it’s a solution for specific needs.

Scootboot Classic → For healthy hooves and everyday riding. Lightweight, flexible, and designed for natural movement. If the hoof is healthy and within standard shapes, the Classic is the best choice.
 
Scootboot Adjust → For hooves with fitting challenges, underrun heels or asymmetry. Adds extra securement points and adjustability while keeping the proven Classic design principles. If the hoof needs fitting adjustments due to conformation, the Adjust is ideal.
 
Scootboot TheraRide → For horses in rehabilitation or needing extra support. Heavier, with built-in padding and wedges. Ideal for therapy, not necessarily for performance or casual riding unless extra support is truly needed. If the horse needs rehabilitation support, then TheraRide is the right model.

    I tried out my first ever pair of scoot boots today and they are just wonderful! They are easy to use and do exactly as they are supposed to do. They are a perfect fit thanks to Lizs help with sizing and using a fit kit. I actually think my mare felt even more comfortable than she usually does, I am so pleased!

    I have decided to purchase scoot boots for my pony; however, I have never used scoot boots so was not sure about fitting and sizing. I have contacted Liz, at Hoof Bootique asking for help. After my initial email, I got a reply and advise from Liz, via email very quickly. I was advised to get a fit kit, which was delivered promptly. It was the best advise ever as without the fit kit (purely based on the hooves measurements) and the great support form Liz, I would never get a right size of scoot boots. I got the boots and they are great! SO much easier to use as compare to the other boots that I was using! Easy to put on /off, and so easy to clean! Liz is brilliant, so helpful and thus I can highly recommend her services. And the fit kit as well as the boots – are worth every penny! Five-star service and five-star product!

    I have a little thoroughbred that kept pulling shoes through winter. Farrier recommended he stayed barefoot and that I invest in some hoof boots to ensure I could vary his workload. I did some research myself and none of the brands seemed a perfect fit. Upon a recommendation from a friend, I got in touch with Hoof Bootique. From start to finish, Liz was really responsive, always offering friendly advice. After sending the initial photos and measurements, I ordered the fit kit and finally ordered the best fit boots. I have had them just over a week now and they are fantastic! So rewarding to see my boy tackling all sorts of terrain without a flinch. It has put the fun back into hacking.

    After having my mares shoes off for having a foal, I was reluctant to put them back on, she has has great hoof quality but flat footed and sensitive, she is also very fine. I ordered the cavallo trec boots first which were far to bulky for her, Liz has been really helpful and advised the scoot boot which is a great fit and very slim and neat looking. The boots are just the job and hoof boutique service was excellent.

    I can not recommend Liz highly enough. She has helped me no end in my quest for boots for my horses barefoot rehabilitation process. I now have a comfy horse in a well fitting pair of Scoots.

    Absolutely delighted with these boots, though I found it a little tricky to get them on the first time and like wise to take them off! But now I think they are brilliant. I have been a Renegade user in the past, but these Scootboots are proving superior. I would also like to add that the help I got from Hoofboot boutique was superb from start to finish.....I will be back!
