Description

The Scoot Boot Classic Hoof Boot is the latest innovation in horse boots technology. Scoot Boot believe their boots will be far superior to any other hoof boot on the market, due to its simplicity and ease of fit. Unlike other horse hoof boots, the Scoot Boot will not get soggy, heavy or wet when riding through muddy and wet terrain. This is because the Scoot Boot is constructed of very strong thermoplastic urethane (TPU) as well as the securing straps, which gives the Scoot Boot superb strength to stand up to all types of terrain that you and your horse may ride over.

For a small fee, we are now offering to swap the Black Front Straps and Pastern Straps on your Scoot Boots for a different colour! If swapping to a colour, the Black straps are not included.

Available in a range of sizes, Scoot Boots are stylish and adaptable beyond any other hoof boots presently on the market.

What Accessories are included with each pair of Scoot Boot Classic?

  • 4 pastern straps in black
  • 2 Trail Gaiters
  • 2 spare black Front Straps Standard (M00, M0, M1, M2 & M3 sizes have 1)
  • 6 spare knob hooks plus screws (M00, M0, M1, M2 & M3 sizes have 5)

What hooves are Scoot Boot Classics not suitable for?

  • Hooves with high heels, long toes or flared hoof walls.
  • Hooves that have major structural changes due to injury to the bulbs or laminitis.
  • Clubbed feet.
  • Hooves that are more than 10mm wider than longer or more than 10mm narrower than the hoof length measurement.

The amount of grip will change if the surface is wet. Always consider safety for horse and rider regarding wet/dry surfaces.

Not sure if you need the Classic, Adjust or TheraRide Model?

With more models available, it’s natural to wonder if newer means better. Scoot Boot are seeing a trend where some riders are selecting TheraRide, believing it’s an upgraded version of the Scootboot Classic. However, it's important to know that the TheraRide isn’t an improvement, it’s a solution for specific needs.

Scootboot Classic → For healthy hooves and everyday riding. Lightweight, flexible, and designed for natural movement. If the hoof is healthy and within standard shapes, the Classic is the best choice.
 
Scootboot Adjust → For hooves with fitting challenges, underrun heels or asymmetry. Adds extra securement points and adjustability while keeping the proven Classic design principles. If the hoof needs fitting adjustments due to conformation, the Adjust is ideal.
 
Scootboot TheraRide → For horses in rehabilitation or needing extra support. Heavier, with built-in padding and wedges. Ideal for therapy, not necessarily for performance or casual riding unless extra support is truly needed. If the horse needs rehabilitation support, then TheraRide is the right model.

    Over the moon at how well the Scoot Boots (with pads) fit my 27yo American Quarter Horse. It has been a painful process converting to being bare foot, and he has had a year off to recover from lameness. He is as pleased with his boots as I am, and today he was full of confidence and was back to doing his fast march and jigging around our roads. Liz has been incredibly knowledgeable and patient in making sure we got the right make and size of boots. It is a bit of a wrestle getting them on as Im ancient and have arthritis but luckily my horse is very interested and cooperative. Thanks again to ‘Hoof Bootique’.

    Just ordered scoot boots for my 2nd barefoot horse. The first one has been wearing them for around 3.5 years. Great quality. Easy to put on, and clean by simply rinsing with water. Thoroughly recommend along with Hoof Boutique 5* service

    Wow, these are just awesome boots. They do everything it says on the packet. I tried them out on a small hack, then went for 13 miles on rough ground, with trotting and cantering, checked half way that they were not rubbing. Left them on for full 13 mile ride, I love them, he loves them. Really amazing lightweight easy to put on boots. I am a total convert. Service from this company also truly amazing, could not have done it without them.

    Fantastic boots. After trying the fit kit and deciding Scoots were best for my boy, I ordered with confidence due to the incredible help and advice from Liz. You cannot go wrong with her on board. The boots are everything I wanted, light weight, airy and robust. I am seriously happy with the scoots, easy to put on, water just drains out. My boy didnt really pay much attention to them. Very happy with these scoots and the brilliant service from this company. Cannot recommend them high enough.

    Very pleased so far with the boots, Liz from Hoof Boutique was very helpful and the fit kit was very useful to have first. My mare seems very happy in them which is great news.

    Great service, helpful advice from Liz, tried the fit kit first, very glad I did! ordered a pair of scoot boots and they arrived within 2 days. pony happy with them and we are now able to get out and about. would recommend this company highly.

    Very good boots. One quick ride and my horse was comfortable with them. Cannot stress how important it is to get professional fitting or follow the guidelines. Really impressed by hoofbootique as they supplied the boots ASAP, well packaged and arrived in mint condition
