Description
Tension Strap for Renegade Hoof Boots - to replace a broken or worn strap, or simply to keep as a spare.
Also known as the “Toe Strap,” the Renegade Tension Strap is the primary means of retention and tightening for the hoof boot. It connects the cables, via cable adapters, at the toe of the boot and includes rubber keeper loops.
Sold Individually.
Care & Cleaning
For the best longevity and durability of the hook-and-loop material, keep the straps clean, free of debris, and in good condition. Frequent cleaning after use will help maintain their holding power and extend their service life.
When cleaning your tension straps, use a toothbrush or other soft-bristled brush to remove dirt and debris. Avoid stiff brushes, as they can be too harsh and may pull or damage the loops.
To clean, spray the strap with a hose and/or soak it in a bucket of water. Gently loosen any remaining dirt or sand with a soft brush, then rinse thoroughly. Regular cleaning will help extend the life and holding power of the straps.

A tension strap can be purchased one size smaller if a tighter fit is required to achieve the desired hoof-boot fit.
