The Hoof Bootique Mixed Fit Kit helps you size your horse's hooves correctly before ordering hoof boots, ensuring a perfect fit and avoiding the hassle and cost of returns. It takes the guesswork out of fitting hoof boots!
The price paid is a deposit to hire the Fit Kit for up to 21 days. Once the Fit Kit is returned, any applicable Fit Kit fees will be deducted from your deposit. Please refer to the "Mixed Fit Kit Deposit & Hire Fees" tab for a detailed breakdown of deposits and fees.
How do I order the Hoof Bootique Mixed Fit Kit, and how does it work?
Start by selecting the total number of individual fitting shells you'd like to hire. Then, use the dropdown menus to choose the manufacturer, model, and the text box to type out the sizes needed. The total deposit required will be calculated based on the number of unique shells you hire.
Refer to the "Fitting Shell Sizes Available" tab for a list of all available sizes.
You will receive 1 shell of each size requested, which can be used on all the hooves you're looking to boot. Please note, these fitting shells are not complete boots and are designed to be tried on at a standstill, not for walking in.
If you hire one of our Fit Kits, we strongly encourage you to send us photos or videos of the shells on your horse's hooves for our expert advice before purchasing boots.

If in touch in Whatsapp or Facebook, please provide your name, order number (if you've already ordered your Fit Kit) and email address. Ideally, we need photos of the hooves in the shells taken from the front, side, and heel bulb views (with the camera as low as possible for a "mouse-eye" view). Videos are also helpful to show how well the shell fits.
If you need more sizes to try, or if your chosen shells don't suit the hoof shape, please get in touch (sales@hoofbootique.co.uk) as we may be able to suggest an alternative brand or sizes to send out to you as part of your Fit Kit (on occasion, a deposit top-up may be required).

Fit Kits are invaluable in finding the right hoof boots for your horse or pony. If you're not set on a specific boot style, a Mixed Fit Kit is usually the best approach. It allows you to mix and match manufacturers and models, trying out different styles and sizes to find the best fit for your horse's hooves.
Please note, there is a limit of 20 shells per Fit Kit when selecting 9 or more shells. If you need more than 20 shells, you will need to order a second Mixed Fit Kit.

What shells are available to hire in the Mixed Fit Kit?
★ Cavallo Big Foot Boot: sizes 7, 8, 9, 10
★ Cavallo Cute Little Boot: sizes M1 - M4 Slim, sizes M1 - M4 Regular
★ Cavallo (all other models): sizes 0 - 6 Regular, sizes 0 - 6 Slim
★ Easyboot Fury: This model is now discontinued so we no longer send it out in our Fit Kits.
★ Easyboot Glove (or Back Country): sizes 00, 00.5, 0, 0 Wide, 0.5, 0.5 Wide, 1, 1 Wide, 1.5, 1.5 Wide, 2, 2 Wide, 2.5, 2.5 Wide, 3, 3 Wide, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5
*Please note there is not a Fit Kit currently available for the Easyboot Trail, Cloud, RX, Sneaker, Epic, Mini, or Old Mac

Wide sizes: 80W, 85W, 90W, 95W, 100W, 105W, 110W, 115W, 120W, 125W, 130W, 135W, 140W and 145W.
Please note: with the new WIDE sizes, we consider them to be more accurately described as SHORT. For example, the 110 WIDE actually has the same width measurement as a 110 STANDARD fit boot, but the length is shorter. This gives the 110 WIDE a more rounded shape.
★ Floating Boot: sizes M90, M95, M100, M105, M00, M0, M1, M2, M2W, M3, M3W, P82, P87, P92, P97, P00, P0, P1, P2, P2W, P3, P3W (used to be the OLD P3)
*Please note: Floating Boots come with various sized gaiters which are not available to try in a Fit Kit. If you are unsure which size gaiter you may need, feel free to get in touch.
★ Floating Boot Mini: S6.7, S7.8, S8.9.
★ Renegade Classic: sizes 00, 0, 1, 2, 2W, 2WW, 4WW
★ Renegade Viper: sizes 120x110, 125x115, 125x120, 125x125, 130x120, 130x130, 135x125, 135x130, 135x135, 140x130, 140x135, 140x140, 145x145, 150x150
★ Scoot Boot: sizes 000 - 11 Regular, sizes 0 - 7 Slim, sizes Mini 00 - 0 Slim, sizes Mini 1 - 3 Regular
*Please note, the 000 Regular is slightly smaller in its proportions than the 00 Regular, and it is larger in its proportions than the Mini 3.
★ Scoot Boot Adjust (Enduro)/TheraRide: sizes 00, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 (size 8 not yet available for the TheraRide)
*Please note, the TheraRide is sized the same as the Adjust but is available in sizes 0-8 and the pads are not included to try in the Fit
*Please note, the TheraRide offers a slightly roomier fit than the Adjust model, so take this into consideration when sizing them.
★ Swiss Galoppers - sizes SG3 - SG8
*Please note: The L-version is not available as a Fit Kit, but taking photos of your horses' hooves in a Standard version fit kit and sending those to us can help us judge the suitability of the L-version.
Please note: we will only send 1 shell per requested size, as only 1 is needed to try on all hooves you are booting.
The price charged is a deposit for hiring the Mixed Fit Kit:
★ A deposit of £45 is required for up to 6 shells.
★ A deposit of £90 is required for 7-9 shells.
★ A deposit of £135 is required for 10 or more shells.
When you return your Mixed Fit Kit, a baseline fee of £22.50 will be retained for up to 3 shells, with an additional £2.50 charged for each extra shell:
★ £22.50 for 1-3 shells
★ £25 for 4 shells
★ £27.50 for 5 shells
★ £30 for 6 shells
★ £32.50 for 7 shells
★ £35 for 8 shells
★ £37.50 for 9 shells
★ and so on!
Please return your Fit Kit clean, dry, and with all parts intact within 21 days of the delivery date. A fee of £5 per week will apply for late returns beyond 21 days.
★A cleaning fee of £5-10 will be deducted from your deposit if the kit is returned excessively muddy or dirty.
If you need to keep the Fit Kit for longer than the initial 21 day period, please get in touch to let us know. We will still charge a £5 fee per additional week over the 21 day hire period.
If we've agreed to send additional shells, the 21-day period resets from the day you receive the latest shells.
If our Royal Mail Return Service is used to return your Fit Kit, £5.95 will be retained from your deposit (see "How do I return my Fit Kit?" tab for more details).
What if I need boots as soon as possible?
If you want boots as quickly as possible, then simply order online and return your Fit Kit to us separately for a refund or Store Credit of any remaining Fit Kit deposit.
What if I want to order boots upon returning my Fit Kit?
Your Fit Kit will include a Fit Kit Form, which also serves as an Order Form. Fill this in and return it with your Fit Kit, and we will create your new order. The remaining deposit, minus the Fit Kit fee, will be applied toward your order. Any remaining balance owed can be paid via...
★ PayPal Request (we will send a request to your email).
★ Bank Transfer.
★ Card Payment/Klarna/PayPal Pay Later (we will create a draft order which we can then link to you, you then checkout as normal via the website).
★ Card Payment over the phone (we will be in touch to arrange time/day).
What if I have already ordered boots before returning my Fit Kit?
If you've already ordered boots and returned your Fit Kit, we will refund the remaining deposit minus the Fit Kit fee. Alternatively, you can request the remaining deposit to be applied to your Hoof Bootique account as a Store Credit.
We cannot refund you or issue a Store Credit until your Fit Kit has been returned and received by us.
Please note, any Store Credit on your Hoof Bootique account is non-refundable after 12 months from the date it was applied.
You are responsible for returning the Fit Kit to us at your own cost, and we cannot issue a refund until the Fit Kit is received. Therefore, we recommend using a recorded postage method. If the Fit Kit is returned with any parts missing, broken, or dirty, the cost of repairing or replacing those parts will be deducted from your deposit.

You can return your Fit Kit using our Royal Mail Returns Service for £5.95 (or use a service of your choice). A Royal Mail Returns label will be included with the Fit Kit. Simply place the label on your parcel and drop it off at any Post Office. Be sure to obtain a proof of postage receipt. This service can be more cost-effective, especially for returning heavy or large Fit Kits.
