Description
The Felt Pad is designed to give extra cushioning whilst wicking moisture away from the hoof, and to improve the fit of your hoof boots. They're also great for use in rehab situations.
If a hoof boot is not fitting quite perfectly, these Felt Pads can help stabilise the boot - the texture of the dense felt material aids in preventing the boot from twisting on the hoof.
They are machine washable which makes them reusable, meaning they can last a very long time.
These 175mm x 175mm pads are available in 2 thicknessess (6mm and 12mm) and are sold in pairs.
They will need cutting to size. This can be done with scissors for the 6mm pads, but the 12mm pads will need carefully cutting to size with something like a bread knife or sharp stanley knife.

TIPS FOR CUTTING NEW PADS:
If you are replacing a pad which still had a good shape you can use this as a template to draw around onto the new pad. Alternatively you can make your own template following these steps...
- Take some tin foil about twice the length of your boot.
- Fold the foil in half.
- Place the foil inside your boot and scrunch down the edges of the foil up against the inside of the boot around the sole.
- Carefully remove the foil and place onto your new pad and trace around the edges.
- Cut as normal keeping to the inside of your traced line.
