Description

The Scoot Boot Classic Hoof Boot is the latest innovation in horse boots technology. Scoot Boot believe their boots will be far superior to any other hoof boot on the market, due to its simplicity and ease of fit. Unlike other horse hoof boots, the Scoot Boot will not get soggy, heavy or wet when riding through muddy and wet terrain. This is because the Scoot Boot is constructed of very strong thermoplastic urethane (TPU) as well as the securing straps, which gives the Scoot Boot superb strength to stand up to all types of terrain that you and your horse may ride over.

For a small fee, we are now offering to swap the Black Front Straps and Pastern Straps on your Scoot Boots for a different colour! If swapping to a colour, the Black straps are not included.

Available in a range of sizes, Scoot Boots are stylish and adaptable beyond any other hoof boots presently on the market.

If you are hiring boots, you are agreeing to our Boot Hire Terms & Conditions

Not sure if you need the Classic, Adjust or TheraRide Model?

With more models available, it’s natural to wonder if newer means better. Scoot Boot are seeing a trend where some riders are selecting TheraRide, believing it’s an upgraded version of the Scootboot Classic. However, it's important to know that the TheraRide isn’t an improvement, it’s a solution for specific needs.

Scootboot Classic → For healthy hooves and everyday riding. Lightweight, flexible, and designed for natural movement. If the hoof is healthy and within standard shapes, the Classic is the best choice.

Scootboot Adjust For hooves with fitting challenges, underrun heels or asymmetry. Adds extra securement points and adjustability while keeping the proven Classic design principles. If the hoof needs fitting adjustments due to conformation, the Adjust is ideal.

Scootboot TheraRide → For horses in rehabilitation or needing extra support. Heavier, with built-in padding and wedges. Ideal for therapy, not necessarily for performance or casual riding unless extra support is truly needed. If the horse needs rehabilitation support, then TheraRide is the right model.

    Scoot Boots

Good points: Fit well, no rubbing so far. Room for improvement: Used them three times, twice for 20–30 minutes, today we went for an hours hack, mainly in walk … and lost a strap. A bit disappointing - Hi Annette, We are very sorry to hear that you have lost a strap. If it was a Pastern Strap you lost, then you may benefit from using Pastern Strap Locks, which you can find here... https://hoofbootique.co.uk/scoot-boot-pastern-strap-lock-pack/ If you are ever having boot issues like this in the future and are concerned about the fit of your boots, please do get in touch and we would be happy to offer some sizing advice. Many thanks, The Hoof Bootique Team.

    Excellent service

Published by Mark Richardson on 31st Aug 2021

This was a repeat order, my old boots had worn out. I get on very well with Scoot - they suit my horse perfectly for our very long hacking rides - we usually ride for 3-4 hours at a time, so the fact they lasted a year is great value. These new boots are perfect. It was easy to order them, they arrived very quickly and meet the extremely high standards that I am used to having from Hoof Boutique. Thank you so much - I will be back to order more next year I am sure :-)

What a fantastic service at Hoof Bootique. I was unsure about style and size and Liz patiently helped me when I submitted LOADS of photos and videos and measurements. Her knowledge and recommendations ensured I bought the right boots in the right size for my horse. I got the mixed fit kit which was invaluable. So pleased with the pair of Scoots I got the front that I am about to order another pair for his hind hooves.

    Impressed

Recently bought these for my Welsh X who does a fair amount of hacking, and does not grow a lot of hoof. Recommended by my trimmer. First ride was a real test on various surface- concrete, tarmac, grass, mud, stoney tracks, crop fields; including hills and slopes. Not once did they slip or twist and my mare walked out completely sound next day. Nice that they are easy to clean and light weight

    Thank you

After initial fitting with fit kit finally ended with scoot size 7 with pads & endurance gaiters, just in case, so far so good, no problem. I did find it a little frustrating that hoof boutique have a policy of not speaking to you on the phone, I would have preferred to have had an actual conversation with someone . --- Hi Claire, We are glad to hear that your size 7 Scoot Boots are working well for you. We are also very sorry you found it frustrating not being able to talk to us on the phone. We are a small team and it is not viable for us to accept incoming calls since we do not have someone available at all times to answer the phone. We are always available via email though, and for us to properly assess the fit of boots and to look at boot options we do need photos, so a description over the phone is not sufficient. Thank you for your understanding, and should you require any help in the future please dont hesitate to email us. The Hoof Bootique Team.
