Description

The Scoot Boot Classic Hoof Boot is the latest innovation in horse boots technology. Scoot Boot believe their boots will be far superior to any other hoof boot on the market, due to its simplicity and ease of fit. Unlike other horse hoof boots, the Scoot Boot will not get soggy, heavy or wet when riding through muddy and wet terrain. This is because the Scoot Boot is constructed of very strong thermoplastic urethane (TPU) as well as the securing straps, which gives the Scoot Boot superb strength to stand up to all types of terrain that you and your horse may ride over.

For a small fee, we are now offering to swap the Black Front Straps and Pastern Straps on your Scoot Boots for a different colour! If swapping to a colour, the Black straps are not included.

Available in a range of sizes, Scoot Boots are stylish and adaptable beyond any other hoof boots presently on the market.

If you are hiring boots, you are agreeing to our Boot Hire Terms & Conditions

Not sure if you need the Classic, Adjust or TheraRide Model?

With more models available, it’s natural to wonder if newer means better. Scoot Boot are seeing a trend where some riders are selecting TheraRide, believing it’s an upgraded version of the Scootboot Classic. However, it's important to know that the TheraRide isn’t an improvement, it’s a solution for specific needs.

Scootboot Classic → For healthy hooves and everyday riding. Lightweight, flexible, and designed for natural movement. If the hoof is healthy and within standard shapes, the Classic is the best choice.

Scootboot Adjust For hooves with fitting challenges, underrun heels or asymmetry. Adds extra securement points and adjustability while keeping the proven Classic design principles. If the hoof needs fitting adjustments due to conformation, the Adjust is ideal.

Scootboot TheraRide → For horses in rehabilitation or needing extra support. Heavier, with built-in padding and wedges. Ideal for therapy, not necessarily for performance or casual riding unless extra support is truly needed. If the horse needs rehabilitation support, then TheraRide is the right model.

    Great alternative to metal shoes

Published by Kiki on 21st Feb 2023

My horse is still going strong at almost 28yo but suffered from years of poor farriery and then chronic low level laminitis from low level PPID, and old competition spains. Scoot Boots have been essential in gradually rehabilitating him to the point where he is comfortable in hacking out which he thinks is his job. He is recovered his joyous mojo and foot confidence, not bad for such an old timer.

2nd pair of scoot boots I have bought.

Published by Sheena Smith-Mountain on 24th Nov 2022

I already have a pair of scoots for my horse, but my niece wanted some for her horse as he transitions to barefoot, so we hired a fit kit from Hoof Boutique in 3 sizes, size 6 fit perfectly and he seemed very comfortable in them, so we ordered the size 6 scoot boots and they arrived within 4 days, cant complain at that. I would not be without mine for my boy and I know my niece will agree once she opens them on Christmas day and puts them on her horse for his first trip out in them.

Received Scoot boots and have used about 3 times now. Liz’s advice was invaluable for making my decision on which boots to get, so far very happy with boots and pony seems happier on stony ground and they fit really well. Thank you

As a first time hoof boot user I found the invaluable and detailed advice from Liz and the hoof boutique website so helpful. They fit brilliantly, and my golden oldie was immediately so much more comfortable. Fabulous service from Hoof Boutique, incredibly speedy delivery, one very happy horse and human! So good to be able to get out and about with a happy horse again.

    Scoot Boots

Liz at the Hoof Bootique helped me every step of the way. My mare is not easy to fit but after with measurements and photos Liz recommend the perfect boots. I used the Fit Kit to check sizing. The service from the Hoof Bootique is outstanding. I wont go anywhere else for hoof boots. Scoot Boots are easy to fit and lightweight. No rubbing or movement at all. I like that they dont have any neoprene or Velcro that needs to be cleaned or left to dry, they are an easy to clean shell with simple rubber straps. They come with extra fittings just in case. Cant fault them.

    Scoot Boots

Very easy to fit to my newly backed 5 y.o. mare. Now that she is ready for the next step in her ridden education, of hacking out onto roads, tracks and bridlepaths etc, I decided boots (which I dont have any real experience of using!) would be a far better option than putting shoes on to her lovely, healthy strong feet, so, early days for us but I up to now I think Scoot Boots are quite possibly one of the best designs of Hoof Boots! I would also add that Hoof Bootique recieved my order around 2 p.m. on a Friday afternoon the boots were in my hands by 11 a.m. on the following Monday!
