Description

The Scoot Boot Classic Hoof Boot is the latest innovation in horse boots technology. Scoot Boot believe their boots will be far superior to any other hoof boot on the market, due to its simplicity and ease of fit. Unlike other horse hoof boots, the Scoot Boot will not get soggy, heavy or wet when riding through muddy and wet terrain. This is because the Scoot Boot is constructed of very strong thermoplastic urethane (TPU) as well as the securing straps, which gives the Scoot Boot superb strength to stand up to all types of terrain that you and your horse may ride over.

For a small fee, we are now offering to swap the Black Front Straps and Pastern Straps on your Scoot Boots for a different colour! If swapping to a colour, the Black straps are not included.

Available in a range of sizes, Scoot Boots are stylish and adaptable beyond any other hoof boots presently on the market.

What Accessories are included with each pair of Scoot Boot Classic?

  • 4 pastern straps in black
  • 2 Trail Gaiters
  • 2 spare black Front Straps Standard (M00, M0, M1, M2 & M3 sizes have 1)
  • 6 spare knob hooks plus screws (M00, M0, M1, M2 & M3 sizes have 5)

What hooves are Scoot Boot Classics not suitable for?

  • Hooves with high heels, long toes or flared hoof walls.
  • Hooves that have major structural changes due to injury to the bulbs or laminitis.
  • Clubbed feet.
  • Hooves that are more than 10mm wider than longer or more than 10mm narrower than the hoof length measurement.

The amount of grip will change if the surface is wet. Always consider safety for horse and rider regarding wet/dry surfaces.

Not sure if you need the Classic, Adjust or TheraRide Model?

With more models available, it’s natural to wonder if newer means better. Scoot Boot are seeing a trend where some riders are selecting TheraRide, believing it’s an upgraded version of the Scootboot Classic. However, it's important to know that the TheraRide isn’t an improvement, it’s a solution for specific needs.

Scootboot Classic → For healthy hooves and everyday riding. Lightweight, flexible, and designed for natural movement. If the hoof is healthy and within standard shapes, the Classic is the best choice.
 
Scootboot Adjust → For hooves with fitting challenges, underrun heels or asymmetry. Adds extra securement points and adjustability while keeping the proven Classic design principles. If the hoof needs fitting adjustments due to conformation, the Adjust is ideal.
 
Scootboot TheraRide → For horses in rehabilitation or needing extra support. Heavier, with built-in padding and wedges. Ideal for therapy, not necessarily for performance or casual riding unless extra support is truly needed. If the horse needs rehabilitation support, then TheraRide is the right model.

    Thank you so much to the team for their diligence and professionalism with all of the help and advice getting the boots to fit my boy. I never realised that there were so many options available. I am so delighted with the boots and the perfect fit- he is now no longer footsore on the stony ground:) perfect!

    A fab, great looking, simple boot. I did not want velcro or wires. An investment, but well worth the cost. Well designed and sleek looking. Plenty of help at hand from Hoof Bootique to get a perfect fit. I do recommend sending for the fitting shells if you have not used them before.

    I am very pleased with my scoot boots having recently bought fronts I now have backs which are working very well, I will say it has taken a few attempts to get the sizing right and would suggest if you are between sizes to go up a size and order a pad just in case! I will say it is very easy to get refunds and exchanges are turned around very quickly. Marlie my Freshian mare loves her boots particular with all the dry weather and hard ground lately she has enjoyed the protection as has been suffering with sore feet! Thank you Hoof Boutique.

    Had the boots a couple of weeks now and they seem strong and good quality..size 6 for my 16.1 hh thoroughbred seem a great fut with the addition of the pads..

    Very happy with my new Scoots..my boy is now happily hacking out across stoney tracks and fields without missing a step..trotting and cantering perfectly and comfortably

    Really pleased with these boots. Excellent fit, and easy to get on and off. No problems so far, seem to retain well and do not rotate on my horses hooves, and no sign of rubbing. I particularly like the shock absorbing capability and that there are no fabric parts that can retain water and become heavy when wet.

    wouldn't use any other boots fit snuggly even on my 17.2 Irish draught low profile and do the job there ment too Excellent product from a reliable company

    I bought a pair of size 11 Scoot Boots for my big lad to protect his feet while out hacking on rocky and hard ground. They are super easy to put on, no Velcro or wires - you just slip them on, fasten the front and pastern straps and off you go. We walked, trotted and cantered - and even popped over a couple of small logs - the boots stayed put, never twisted and at the end of the ride, when I took them off, there were no rubbed spots. I could not be more pleased with them.

    I have recently bought two pairs of Scoot boots (size 5 & 4slim) for my Fell mare who was beginning to be uncomfortable being barefoot. What a difference; they were easy to put on and take off, fitted beatuifully with no rubbing. My mare had never worn boots before and was completely happy with them first time out. I can recommend these boots and the excellent service from Hoof Bootique.
