Pastern Strap for Renegade Hoof Boots - to replace a broken or worn strap, or simply to keep as a spare.
This strap the secondary means of retention, and connects the Heel Captivator around the pastern of the horse. Apply with a minimum of 2 fingers width gap between the horse's pastern and the strap. Neoprene cushion is included and incorporated as part of the strap. Includes rubber keeper loops.
For best longevity and durability of the hook and loop material, keep clean, free of debris, and in good condition, and wash frequently after use. When cleaning the Pastern Straps, a toothbrush or other soft brush is best, as a stiff brush is too harsh and will pull at the loops. Spray with a hose and/or soak in a bucket, then gently loosen any residual dirt or sand and rinse.

Can be purchased one size smaller if necessary to reduce any strap overhang.
This is the Pastern Strap only that fits to the captivator of a Renegade boot, it is not the boot itself.
