The CLB upper is heavy duty industrial grade and durable with with a soft foam collar and breathable backing for your equine’s comfort. Includes reflective logos for safety and a supple and flexible bulb. The boot goes on easily, conforms to individual hoofs and pasterns, and it stays on. Each boot can fit a left or right foot or be used on the rear hooves.

    I have long lined my mini shetland for miles each week over all types of terrain in these boots. She is comfortable in them and they have never rubbed. After three years she has worn the grips almost flat and I have replaced her fronts with the glitter version. The glitter seems robust but I am not sure how it will fair. I can count on one hand the times a boot has come off and this has always been in sticky mud or swamp type conditions. As you would expect with Velcro the tabs do need replacing occasionally due to hard wear in grass and mud. I’ve been very pleased with these boots and they are pretty perfect for a forward going and adventurous mini.

    These look gorgeous on our Shetland! They have made her much more comfortable on the steep and gritty roads of Exmoor. She has found another gear!

    I got these boots for our new Shetland pony so that her hooves were protected from the stones and uneven ground. These boots instantly helped and she has been enjoying going on adventure walks! As suggested we have been breaking the boots in as you would a new pair of leather boots. I would definitely recommend these boots and the hoof boutique.
