Hoof - It Therapeutic Hoof Pads are made from a special high density slow release memory foam that is temperature and pressure sensitive. These Hoof Pads don't just cushion the shock, they mould to the shape of the sole spreading the pressure evenly, offering support and thereby relieving the pain caused by laminitis, abcesses and all other foot injuries with amazing results.
Designed to be used in conjunction with our Hoof-it poultice boot but can be used under bandages or with a barefoot boot.
They are breathable, washable and naturally antibacterial and antifungal.
These pads have been designed to be used in an emergency situation to provide short-term relief and comfort, rather than to be used as an everyday pad. They may not last as well as other hoof boot pads, if being used for ridden work or turnout.
The Hoof - It Therapeutic Pads come in 5 sizes. Sizes (Diameter) 10cm. 12cm. 14cm. 16cm. 18cm, all are 25mm thick.
To get the right size, measure across the width of the hoof, and check the hoof length. You will also need to take into account your hoof boot size, if using these pads in hoof boots. It is usually best to order a pad size larger than your hoof boots (so if you hoof boots measure around 14cm round, go for the 16cm Hoof It pads and then trim to fit if necessary).
