Description

Flex Boot EVA Pads - Firm (Red) are made from a firmer 6mm EVA than the Soft (Yellow) pads, and are best for horses and ponies needing extra protection on hard or rocky terrain. Designed to withstand more abrasion for longer wear, they provide reliable shock absorption, increased protection on hard surfaces, improved durability, and maintained proprioception. This makes them an excellent everyday option for barefoot horses that need added comfort without sacrificing sensory feedback.

The pads mould to the boot insole and the horse’s sole, creating an almost “sealed” fit between the two. This can help the boots stay on more securely while providing cushioning where it’s needed most. This means that the pads can also be used to improve boot fit, particularly if the boots are slightly too loose and there’s space at the sides of the boot.

Absolutely delighted that these come cut to size. No more ruined hands from cutting pads. I think they are going to disintegrate fairly quickly though. I have done probably five miles in them and they look worn. Heavy horse though, lighter horses might be easier on them. They fit a treat into the boots and you can see exactly what is going on through the boot windows. Flex boots are a massive win!
