Cavallo Big Foot Boot (single boot)

These are excellent boots for larger hoofed horses. Secure fitting and great for road work. First pair lasted about a year. They are still fine but a little stretched. These boots have allowed my horse to go unshod in front. This has had huge benefits in tackling his crushed heels and is helping keep him sound.

Liz and Laura have been the most helpful people I have ever come across. Superb service all round. The hoof kits are certainly the best way of getting an accurate fit. We now have both the Cavallo Big Foot Boot and the normal one and I would highly recommend both. The Big Foot Boot is being used on a shod horse along with a pad which works perfectly and the other boots are being used on a 24 yr old arthritic Highland Pony and its given him a new lease of life. My horse was suffering with the bulbs of his front feet becoming bruised on rocky ground. These boots, along with the insoles (as he is shod) have completely sorted this problem! They are wonderful quality with really sturdy and solid soles. They are also fantastic to have as a backup incase he loses a shoe!

This boot looked lovely and neat compared to the other boot that I ordered to try on my horse. However, my horse has quite long, low heels so even though the boot would go on, it just wasnt roomy enough on the heel and I think it would have rubbed him. I know that they are supposed to give a bit but I do not think they would have given enough. The next size up would have been too loose on his foot. It looked to be a nice boot for a different shaped hoof/heel.

We have a Clydesdale gelding that has a huge hooves. Was struggling to find boots his size. Big Foot Boots sits properly and he got used to it so fast. Definitely would recommend it. Special Thank you to the Hoof Bootique team. Very professional and great communication.

Excellent product for my mare who is having hoof problems despite being trimmed she can’t keep shoes on as her hooves crack so badly. Got used to putting them on reasonably quickly, Zara now stands nicely while having the shoes put on, she found them a bit strange to begin with but is now able to exercise as if she had metal shoes on. We can go out without worrying about losing shoes and damaging her feet. We’re also dropping a size as her feet are much better and the farrier is able to trim to a much better shape. Highly recommended for my big footed horse!

Perfect fit for my 20yr old shire cross who has problems with brittle cracking feet, he wears them to go to the field and wears them whilst turned out in the field he is so much more comfortable now.
