Description
Extension for the Swiss Galopper L-version.
Each set contains 8 screws, 8 nuts, 1 hexagon key and 2 extensions.
Not suitable for the Standard length Swiss Galopper boots.
Available in 3 possible length variants: 1.96"(50mm), 2.36"(60mm) and 2.76"(70mm).
- SG-L sizes 3-6 come with 1.96"(50mm) and 2,36"(60mm) extensions, the latter is pre-assembled.
- SG-L size 7-8 come with 2,36"(60mm) and 2.76"(70mm) extensions, the latter is pre-assembled.
If the existing variant does not fit, the 3rd length can be used. This can be seen when the bale shell is too far back and / or too high or too far down on the bale. Link: https://www.swiss-galoppers.swiss/download/swiss-galoppers_lversion.pdf
Attention:
When exchanging extensions, always use the new screws which are part of your purchase.
Important note:
Check screws regularly. If necessary, retighten.
If you are having trouble removing old fixings, you can cut the extension off up to the screws (so that the latter is free, see pics). Then the extension can be pulled out, and the nuts loosened.
The new style of extensions have a hex nut and tool to help removal.
