Scootboot Anti-Slip Shims (pair)

Description

The Scootboot Anti Slip Shims are constructed of a specifically formulated non-slip material that is inserted into the front of the Scootboot between the hoof and the boot.
  • Provide extra security when the hoof gets wet and slippery; and
  • Act as a filler providing a firmer fit when the hoof is in between sizes or the hoof has shrunk in dry conditions.
Anti Slip Shims can simply be removed when not needed.
 
Pack contains 2 Anti Slip Shims (1 pair).
 
What size do I need?
 
Extra Small - fits Scootboot Classic/Adjust/TheraRide sizes M00-0
Small - fits Scootboot Classic/Adjust/TheraRide sizes 1-3
Medium - fits Scootboot Classic/Adjust/TheraRide sizes 4-6
Large - fits Scootboot Classic/Adjust/TheraRide sizes 7-11

    These work great but I got the ‘old’ design rather than the ones in the product photo which is a shame as it looks like the ‘new’ design would work better with pads. --- Hi Kiki, Thank you for leaving a review. It does all depend on the fit of the boot to begin with, and many horses do not have room for a shim. They can work really well when boots are not a perfect fit though and need stabilising.     An excellent product which ensure my scoot boots remain snuggly in place. Only rated a four star because my arthritic hands struggled to fit them in the first instance.

    Shims have improved since I last bought them. This was my first order with Hoof Bootique - shims were in stock, they arrived on time and the postage cost was one third of their main competitor in the hoof boot category. Highly recommended.

    Awesome, boot doesnt move anywhere. Highly recommend for when boots maybe get a bit older and lose.

    Having a horse with really wide, but short feet, these have been perfect to stop my scoot boots twisting slightly

    Anti slip shims

    One of my horses hind scoot boots was twisting so I ordered the shims and voila, problems solved!
