Description

The Scoot Boot Classic Hoof Boot is the latest innovation in horse boots technology. Scoot Boot believe their boots will be far superior to any other hoof boot on the market, due to its simplicity and ease of fit. Unlike other horse hoof boots, the Scoot Boot will not get soggy, heavy or wet when riding through muddy and wet terrain. This is because the Scoot Boot is constructed of very strong thermoplastic urethane (TPU) as well as the securing straps, which gives the Scoot Boot superb strength to stand up to all types of terrain that you and your horse may ride over.

For a small fee, we are now offering to swap the Black Front Straps and Pastern Straps on your Scoot Boots for a different colour! If swapping to a colour, the Black straps are not included.

Available in a range of sizes, Scoot Boots are stylish and adaptable beyond any other hoof boots presently on the market.

What Accessories are included with each pair of Scoot Boot Classic?

  • 4 pastern straps in black

  • 2 spare black Front Straps Standard (M00, M0, M1, M2 & M3 sizes have 1)
  • 6 spare knob hooks plus screws (M00, M0, M1, M2 & M3 sizes have 5)

What hooves are Scoot Boot Classics not suitable for?

  • Hooves with high heels, long toes or flared hoof walls.
  • Hooves that have major structural changes due to injury to the bulbs or laminitis.
  • Clubbed feet.
  • Hooves that are more than 10mm wider than longer or more than 10mm narrower than the hoof length measurement.

The amount of grip will change if the surface is wet. Always consider safety for horse and rider regarding wet/dry surfaces.

Not sure if you need the Classic, Adjust or TheraRide Model?

With more models available, it’s natural to wonder if newer means better. Scoot Boot are seeing a trend where some riders are selecting TheraRide, believing it’s an upgraded version of the Scootboot Classic. However, it's important to know that the TheraRide isn’t an improvement, it’s a solution for specific needs.

Scootboot Classic → For healthy hooves and everyday riding. Lightweight, flexible, and designed for natural movement. If the hoof is healthy and within standard shapes, the Classic is the best choice.
 
Scootboot Adjust → For hooves with fitting challenges, underrun heels or asymmetry. Adds extra securement points and adjustability while keeping the proven Classic design principles. If the hoof needs fitting adjustments due to conformation, the Adjust is ideal.
 
Scootboot TheraRide → For horses in rehabilitation or needing extra support. Heavier, with built-in padding and wedges. Ideal for therapy, not necessarily for performance or casual riding unless extra support is truly needed. If the horse needs rehabilitation support, then TheraRide is the right model.

    The service from hoofbootique was fantastic, nothing was to much trouble which made choosing the right boots for my horse so easy. The scoot boots are great, good fit and my horse seems happy in them.

    I bought these boots for my new pony after trying a few sizes out using a mixed Fit Kit. On Day 1 I walked and trotted him out in hand to make sure they were a good fit, and Day 2 went out for a long ride over quite challenging terrain and the boots did not slip or twist, and they did not rub. I am very impressed with the design and quality of these boots and with the service from Hoof Bootique.

    Lovely boots good fit do not move or rub but not tested on wet mud yet x would definitely recommend hoof boutique as plenty of advise and help given, emails answered quickly and no pressure to buy

    Loving our new Scoot Boots, I have only had my pony 7 months and he has never been shod (or worn boots before) but when I started doing a bit more with him he was finding our stony tracks a bit much. I was recommended to Scoot Boots by our podiatrist and we are getting on great with them. They are very light, easy to put on and take off, the pony did not react to them at all and now walks out lovely on all terrain. They are also a good price compared to some of the other makes. I sent photos to Hoof Bootique just to reassure myself I was ordering the right size but there is loads of information on the website and you get great support if you have any questions. I did order a fit kit, again just to be absolutely sure and this was received quickly and when I actually placed my order the boots arrived within a couple of days. I am now just awaiting the refund for the fit kit but sure that will come through soon, I only sent it back a few days ago.

    Brilliant product! This is now my second pair of scoots I have bought and I love them. I sized them my self as I needed a larger pair and the information and resources on the website was very helpful. The customer service was also brilliant as I ordered them in a rush for my horse with a hoof abscess, however I forgot to confirm payment with my bank. The lovely team at hoof boutique sent me an email to ask if I still wanted them and I am so glad they did as otherwise It would have taken me ages to realise I had not ordered them and my horse would still be on box rest. This is a great product but also importantly the customer service I received was brilliant which you often do not get ordering online.

    The boots were delivered promptly. They are of excellent quality and are relatively easy to put on. Lots of spare bits supplied too. Looking forward to many miles hacking.

    After taking the shoes off my horse before covid as farrier could not visit for months on end, I have realised that my horses feet are so much better and stronger unshod and my bank balance is much happier. However the last 3 years I have struggled with riding my horse as he is very sensitive on stones, so I have very much put riding on the back burner. Since moving to a new yard where we ride out a lot more I knew I needed to find a solution so I could ride my horse more, so he would be more comfortable and my friend recommended Hoof Bootique. I can not speak more highly of them, Gemma was so helpful responding to emails and photos and I eventually found my horse is a size 4 on scoot boot. They have arrived today and I have just tried them out, only a quick walk down the road, but the difference in my horse is unbelievable. He is so much more forward going and not trying to walk in the hedge. I am now looking forward to using them regularly and getting my horse fit again!
