Description

The Scoot Boot Classic Hoof Boot is the latest innovation in horse boots technology. Scoot Boot believe their boots will be far superior to any other hoof boot on the market, due to its simplicity and ease of fit. Unlike other horse hoof boots, the Scoot Boot will not get soggy, heavy or wet when riding through muddy and wet terrain. This is because the Scoot Boot is constructed of very strong thermoplastic urethane (TPU) as well as the securing straps, which gives the Scoot Boot superb strength to stand up to all types of terrain that you and your horse may ride over.

For a small fee, we are now offering to swap the Black Front Straps and Pastern Straps on your Scoot Boots for a different colour! If swapping to a colour, the Black straps are not included.

Available in a range of sizes, Scoot Boots are stylish and adaptable beyond any other hoof boots presently on the market.

What Accessories are included with each pair of Scoot Boot Classic?

  • 4 Pastern Straps (2 on boot, 2 in spares)
  • 2 Trail Gaiters
  • 6 Front Straps (4 on boots, 2 in spares)
    - M00, M0, M1, M2 & M3 sizes have 3 (2 on boots, 1 in spares)
  • 6 Spare Knob Hooks plus Screws
    - M00, M0, M1, M2 & M3 sizes have 5 in spares

What hooves are Scoot Boot Classics not suitable for?

  • Hooves with high heels, long toes or flared hoof walls.
  • Hooves that have major structural changes due to injury to the bulbs or laminitis.
  • Clubbed feet.
  • Hooves that are more than 10mm wider than longer or more than 10mm narrower than the hoof length measurement.

The amount of grip will change if the surface is wet. Always consider safety for horse and rider regarding wet/dry surfaces.

Not sure if you need the Classic, Adjust or TheraRide Model?

With more models available, it’s natural to wonder if newer means better. Scoot Boot are seeing a trend where some riders are selecting TheraRide, believing it’s an upgraded version of the Scootboot Classic. However, it's important to know that the TheraRide isn’t an improvement, it’s a solution for specific needs.

Scootboot Classic → For healthy hooves and everyday riding. Lightweight, flexible, and designed for natural movement. If the hoof is healthy and within standard shapes, the Classic is the best choice.
 
Scootboot Adjust → For hooves with fitting challenges, underrun heels or asymmetry. Adds extra securement points and adjustability while keeping the proven Classic design principles. If the hoof needs fitting adjustments due to conformation, the Adjust is ideal.
 
Scootboot TheraRide → For horses in rehabilitation or needing extra support. Heavier, with built-in padding and wedges. Ideal for therapy, not necessarily for performance or casual riding unless extra support is truly needed. If the horse needs rehabilitation support, then TheraRide is the right model.

    We used a fit kit to establish which size my New Forest required. Once correct size ordered, it only took a few days to receive the boots. We are very pleased with our Scoot Boots and fit my pony perfectly. Very pleased with the service and product

    Today was our first trip out for my boy in his new Scoots! And we are both so happy and relieved he can now cope with the ever growing hardened ground on our hacks. Dex has always had good strong feet and has always been barefoot. However with the tracks becoming worse he was starting to become footy - we spent our rides swerving from one grass verge to the next. It was uncomfortable and not enjoyable for either of us. A friend recommended Hoof Boutique. After a few email chats and photos of Dex’s feet’s, a fit kit was sent to try. So easy and so simple. Once the size was agreed, our new Scoots were in the post ! Liz offered fantastic knowledge and great customer service. Which is key when dealing on email and with a product that absolutely has to fit ! Thankyou To Liz and team for a great experience.

    Fab user friendly boots

    Having tried about 8 shells, the scoot boots were the best fit and one of the most cost effective options too. We also bought shims and endurance gaiters to help get a closer fit and ensure there was no rubbing. Eddie seems to go really well in them, they are quick and easy to fit and enable us to give Eddie the protection he needs when we venture out on a hack.

    New boots arrived 2 days after ordering and I am progressing slowly for older Fell pony to become accustomed to them, as she had never been shod. They are very easy to fit and take off. I am really pleased with them. Scoot boots were recommended to me for a Fell with lots of feather.

    Great boots, great advice

    Great boots! They are my 2nd pair of scoots (horses feet changed shape still loads of miles left in the 1st pair). My horse walks out brilliantly in them, he is so comfortable and all the sensitivity is gone. They are so easy to put on, clean and I do not have to worry about them having to dry out after a splash in the river. Liz gave me amazing advice, she recommended the perfect size and brand for my boys feet when I was drowning in size charts.

    Best investment for my horses hooves!

    So pleased with these boots! Very easy to put on and my boy finds them comfy to wear and easily adjusted to having them on his hooves. Have used them on a few different surfaces since they arrived (tarmac roads, gravel paths and a very muddy field!) and they have performed fantastically. No slips or stumbles at all! Did not budge even with the mud and they fit him like a dream. They are super easy to clean, just a rinse off under the hose and they are good to go. I have no complaints, can not fault the service, and I think they are one of the best purchases I have made for my boy

    I ordered these a week ago and I’m really impressed with them. I was a horse boot virgin so enquired at the Hoof Boutique.... Liz was brilliant and gave me several choices and I decided on the Scoots. They’re easy to put on and clean, the horse loves them and is back to striding out on his hacks. I had in my mind they would be more fiddly so I’m chuffed they are simple to use. I’ll definitely be sticking with these for this horse!
