Description
The Flex TPU gaiter is attached to the back of the boot shell. They are designed to keep the boots in place and allow for sizing adjustment to ensure the best possible fit for your horse. The Flex neoprene gaiters attach to the TPU gaiter, to prevent rubbing.
TPU gaiters come as part of the standard Flex Boot set when you purchase a boot, or can be purchased separately as a replacement part. When purchased separately, the TPU gaiter comes with two pre-installed rivets that are used to attach the gaiter to the boot shell.
Flex TPU gaiters are sold individually; to purchase a pair, add two gaiters to your basket.
Does not include Flex Ball Rivets or Flex Washers used to connect the gaiter straps around the pastern.
You can purchase Flex Glue separately HERE.
TPU Sizing
Flex TPU gaiters are available in seven sizes that fit the following boot sizes as standard

To check whether your horse needs a bigger or smaller TPU gaiter, measure from the ground up to the middle of the pastern, following the natural curve of the leg.
Use the table above to match the measurement with the correct TPU gaiter size.
For example: if your horse wears a size 120 boot but the height you measure is 11 cm, you should choose the Custom Boot with a larger TPU gaiter (size 130).
*the above guide for TPU sizing also applies to the WIDE fit boots (e.g. a 120 WIDE boot needs a 120 TPU).
Materials
Flex TPU gaiters are made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), a material that is often called a hybrid between plastic and rubber. TPU offers the flexibility of rubber, but with the strength and durability of plastic.
Care instructions
Flex TPU gaiters are easy to clean and maintain. Simply brush clean, rinse off any dirt and hang to dry in a well-ventilated place. Do not use cleaning products, and do not store the TPU gaiters in a closed space such as a box or in your car.
