Please note: with the new WIDE sizes, we consider them to be more accurately described as SHORT. For example, the 110 WIDE actually has the same width measurement as a 110 STANDARD fit boot, but the length is shorter. This gives the 110 WIDE a more rounded shape.

Replacement shell for Flex Boot. The shell comes with 2 rivets that are required to attach the TPU gaiter to the shell. The back of the shell also has an adhesive that is activated by heat and helps the TPU gaiter stay on properly.
If you don't have the tools to change the shell, your local saddle maker or cobbler may be able to help you.
Flex boot shell is part of the standard Flex Boot set when you purchase a boot, or they can be purchased separately as a replacement part here.

Sizing
Replacement shells come in the same sizes as the standard and wide fit boots.
Flex Boots fit hooves that are +/- 5mm of the listed width measurements, and no longer than the listed length measurement. Hoof measurements should be taken after a fresh trim. FlexBoots fit a variety of different hoof shapes provided the hoof is maintained in its anatomically correct shape. This generally means small maintenance trims at 1-2 week intervals. Flex Boots recommend that the owner should learn how to maintain their horse’s feet between professional visits. By doing so, you can ensure that the horse moves comfortably at all times with correct and well-functioning hooves, and your horse can enjoy these barefoot shoes of the horse world for as long as possible. Materials
The boot shell is made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), a material that is often called a hybrid between plastic and rubber. TPU offers the flexibility of rubber, but with the strength and durability of plastic.
Rivets are made of steel.
Care instructions
Flex Boots are easy to clean and maintain. Simply rinse off any dirt and hang the boots to dry in a well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight. Do not store the boots in a closed space such as a box or in your car. Boot shell can be brushed clean and washed with water. Do not use cleaning products.
The amount of grip will change if the surface is wet. Always consider safety for horse and rider regarding wet/dry surfaces.
